Improving Your Search Engine Ranking With A Search Cloud

There are many ways to improve your search engine rankings.
There are off page factors (basically link building), which
can include techniques like article submission, blog
commenting, forum posting, directory submission and more.
And there are on-page factors- like keywords, markup, etc.
Both are important, and if you wish to do rank highly on
the search engines you need to focus on building links, and
improving on page factors. If you're looking for an extra
boost, you may like to consider search clouds- An on-page
factor that is often overlooked by many people.

So what is a search cloud? It's similar to a "tag cloud".
It's basically a big list of phrases, with the individual
phrases varying in size. Each phrase represents a search
term that someone searched for, and then clicked on and
visited your site. And the size of the individual phrases
shows how many people searched for the individual terms- if
a lot of people search (and click) for a specific phrase,
then that phrase will appear bigger than the other phrases
in the search cloud.

Search clouds help with your search engine rankings,
because they ensure that you have internal links with the
anchor text that people are actually searching for. Often
people will guess what anchor text they should use- but
they often get it wrong. A search cloud solves this
problem- because it's based on live results based on what
people  actually searched for.

This can be shown with an example... Suppose you have a
widget website, and you rank on the first page for "green
widget". When people search for "green widget", and click
the link to your site, the search cloud will add "green
widget" to the cloud, and link to the "green widget" page
on your website. You now have more links to the green
widget page, which will help you to rank higher for "green
widget".

There are other benefits to search clouds as well. They can
help lead your customers to your more important pages. If
someone searches for "red widget", and then sees that the
biggest phrase in your search cloud is for "blue widgets",
they instantly know that your site is popular for blue
widgets, and may go and visit the page. Search clouds also
encourage visitors to explore your, which will help
increase the average page views per visitor. This can mean
more income, whether it's in the form of extra sales, or
more revenue from advertising.

A search cloud can normally be set up quite easily-
particularly if you have a PHP based website. Most forums,
script sites, and blogs are written in PHP, so a search
cloud can usually be added with a small change to your
template. If you have a normal HTML site it's still
possible to add a search cloud- you may just need to do a
bit more setup. If you're interested in trying a search

Be Punctual

Does your computer contain an alarm clock? Can you set your computer to remind you about something? Does your computer tell you what time it is after a certain amount of time has gone by?

If you answered no to any of those questions, you should definitely take a look at this tip!

Today, I am going to explain to you how you can get an alarm clock, a reminder and a human voice time teller all on your computer. All of  this can be obtained through just one software program. And the best part it's free!

The software I am referring to is called "Be Punctual." You can find it by going to: http://www.vcsoftwares.com/BePun.html 

Once you have it downloaded and installed, you will see an aircraft icon in your bottom system tray, as shown below.

Right click on the icon to get the following window:

This is the Time Teller window where you can set up two different settings.

1.) Tell Time After – Here you can set the number of minutes after which you would like your computer to tell you the time. If you don’t want it, you may uncheck the box before Enabled.

2.) Options – Here you can set your preference to hear a male or female voice by selecting the respective radio button. Also, you may check or uncheck the box for "Tell time at Windows startup." That one is up to you.

At the top, there are reminder and alarm clock options. So, let's say you selected the reminder window. You will then see the following:

Here you can enter the message you want to be reminded with on a particular date, month or time.

The exiting thing is that you may select your own audio file to be played by clicking on the Browse button. Once you do that, click Add and your reminder will be added instantly.

There are also options to modify or delete the existing reminders, if you ever want to do that. Now, let's move on to the last tab, which is for the alarm clock. You will see the following screen:

Here you can set different alarms for each day of the week and even a standard alarm for every day living. Of course, you may select your own audio file to be played as your alarm as well.

Once you're done choosing your settings, click on Send to Tray or just minimize it to hide it in your system tray. All of the items you selected and chose will stay put.
