4 Steps to your first profitable website

Many new internet marketers want to begin making money
online, but have no idea where to start. One of the best
ways for a beginner to start is by using a web script.
Although it sounds complicated, these scripts (usually
written in a programming language called PHP), often aren't
as complicated as would first appear, and they are a great
way to create a large site in a small amount of time.

Step 1: The first thing you need to do is decide what
script you are going to use. A quick google search will
show you that there are thousands of scripts, made in many
different languages (Although PHP scripts are the most
common), and by lots of different developers. The massive
variety of scripts available can be overwhelming- but it
doesn't have to be! Make your decision based on your
budget, your hobbies, the time you can spend on the site,
and your skill level. You may also want to try asking the
developer some questions before purchasing the script- this
is usually a good way to gauge the quality of customer
support you will get after purchasing your web script.

Step 2: After you have downloaded your script, the first
thing to do is read the documentation that came with it.
Then try and install it on your server. If you have any
problems contact the developer and get some help. Most
developers are quite happy to help you with installing your
script, and some may do the installation for you if you
provide them with the login details to your account.

Step 3: Now you have to work on modifying your site a
little. This is because there will probably be a lot of
other customers with the same script as yours. If you don't
modify your site, your content will be the same as many
other people... which google doesn't like. This may lead to
you having less (or even no) traffic from google.

There are many ways to change the site... If you want to
change the graphics, or the title, keywords, etc, then look
for a template file. A lot of (well written) scripts use a
template file, and it allows you to alter the entire look
of the site, by changing one simple file (That is mostly
HTML, and quite easy to understand). Try and modify some of
the site content, and add your own content as well. The
more you change, the less likely you are to get hit by the
google's Duplicate Content filter, and the higher you will
rank in the search engines.

Step 4: After you've changed the site, it's time to start
getting traffic! Research this online- and you'll find a
lot of gurus suggesting different ways to get traffic. Read
a few, and decide on one you like, and try some of their
recommended techniques. I highly recommend writing and
submitting articles... It's a great way to bring qualified
leads to your website, and helps to build up your link
count, which will help you to rank higher in the search
engines. You should also use a program like Google
Analytics, to keep track of where your traffic is coming
from. When you find a certain technique works for bringing
in traffic- keep doing it!

As long as you stick with it, you should eventually
succeed. And you can't beat the feeling you get the very
first time you make money while your sleeping! Good luck!

Backup Internet Browser

So somehow the software for your Internet Explorer from Microsoft got corrupted and now it won’t work. You can’t access the Internet to download the new version so what next. Unfortunately, at that point there isn’t a lot you can do. But you can prepare for this in advance.

What I recommend is that you download another Browser which you can use in case IE stops working. This way, you can access the Internet with that Browser and download a new copy of IE.

There are currently alternative Browsers that I’m aware of and they are Mozilla, Netscape, RapidBrowser XP, Deepnet and Opera. I use Mozilla, and if you want a grassroots alternative to Microsoft's vision of what the Web should be, this browser is it.

In fact, IE is the target of Trojans, viruses, worms and other malware, and if you choose to use a competing browser you'll instantly have a more secure system as a result.

You can do a search on any of these Browsers, or if you want to do a little investigation, do a search on “Internet Explorer Alternatives.”
