Secrets of M L M "Gurus""

Most of the people involved in multi level
marketing fail.  It is a cold hard fact that only
about 5% of those who try network marketing as
a means to start a home based business ever
experience the success that is promised to them
by the m l m opportunities they get so excited
about when they first start.  The good news is
that it is often not their fault.  The problem is the
passing bad information from one member of the
up-line down to other members.  People are not
doing this on purpose, they just don't know
better.  The secrets to success are kept by an
elite few who are considered "gurus" of the m l m
world, until now.  

First of all, everyone is not your prospect.  I know
what your thinking, "I've been told that everybody
wants my product, they just don't know it yet",
wrong!  If you have not heard the famous
everybody is a prospect rule then you are
probably new to m l m, and it is great that you are
reading this before you try and fail.  Not only do
these insane antics cause marketers to get down
on themselves, but they bring down the image of
the entire industry.  Not everybody wants a home
business.  If they did, you would never hear
anybody tell you they were not interested in an
opportunity to start their own home business.  It
is much easier to present your opportunity to
someone who is already interested in becoming
their own boss.

One truly damaging piece of information that
those new to the industry are often given is that
there are no sales involved.  Granted, a good
system will automate a lot of the selling for you,
but nothing beats the personal touch.  People
want to know there is a real person on the other
end, not some faceless corporation.  To achieve
real success in network marketing, you must be
ready to sell a little bit.  As I said before, a good
m l m system will handle much of the selling for you,
but it is up to you to close the deal.

This brings me to the next lie that is usually told to
the new distributors in multi level marketing
systems, and that is that anyone can do this. 
There is some truth to this, but the fact is that
everybody is different.  Not everyone comes into
this industry with the same background, time, or
money.  Just because one person is able to create
an empire in a matter of a year or two, does not
mean that everybody else can do the same. 
Some people take longer because they are not as
familiar with or comfortable with direct sales. 
Others do not have the same start up money.  
The ability to invest the proper amount of time
into your company is another variable that must
be taken into account.  All of these reasons and
more are why all network marketers are not able
to duplicate the exact business as the marketer
before them.  Time, money, experience, contacts,
all of these factors must be taken into account
before you start comparing business owners. 
Most people can succeed in m l m with the right
tools, but not everybody will succeed in the same
manner.

"We'll build your business for you!"  Have you ever
heard that one?  I sad earlier that a good system
is automated, but I also said you still have to get
in there and be hands on to succeed.  Remember,
there is no such thing as a free lunch.  The fantasy
that all you have to do is secure your position in a
company and wait for the dollars to start rolling in
is just that, a fantasy.  Network marketing has
made the dream of becoming rich much more
attainable for the average person, but that does
not mean that there is no work involved.  Once
involved in m l m you have become a business
owner.  It is important to remember that because
all successful business owners work for what they
achieve.  Automated marketing systems are very
important to a successful business, but they
cannot do everything for you!

If you're using the wrong tools to build a
business, you will almost always fail.  Knowing
what information is wrong will help you avoid
these failures, and put you on the road to success
as long as you are willing to put in the work.  Only
a small percentage of successful network
marketers know what I am sharing with you here.

On the Level

Have you been having trouble with your hard drive lately? Are
you ready to just give up and go get a new one. Before you do
that, you might find this little tip interesting.

Some hard drives are very sensitive to surfaces that are not
level, and have trouble functioning properly when they are
placed on an uneven surface or at a slant.

To move your hard drive and see if this could be the problem,
shut down your computer and move your system to a flatter area.
You can even use a level to make sure the surface is completely
flat. Now, restart your computer normally and see if the drive
works any better than it did before.

Often times, this will help bring a doomed hard drive back to
life. Keep in mind that this trick will not work with every
single hard drive. Yours might have problems beyond repair and
you of course, will have to look into those further, but you can
always give this a shot just to see what happens.
