How to Drive Targeted Traffic to Your Website with Ezine Articles
What is an ezine? An ezine is described as an electronic magazine.
A magazine specializes in one subject, such as Golf, and is delivered
by postal mail carriers. We then subscribe to the Golf magazine.
Here is the difference.
When you find a subject of interest, such as Golf, you can subscribe to
an ezine that is written for that subject, Golf, online. Ezines
are sent to your email box.
The great part of the Ezine is once you subscribe, you can get instant
access to the ezine or as it may be called, a newsletter.
Here are ways to use an ezine article or a newsletter article to find people
with the same interests you have and sell them your product:
Ezine Advertising!
Let us say, you live and breath Scrapbooking. It is your passion. You
have become an expert about all aspects of Scrapbooking. You believe
in your heart You will make money by selling your ideas and information
online to the world.
When you have located the ezine you like about Scrapbooking, three
ways to advertise:
Solo Ads - When a solo ad is purchased, all the newsletter
subscribers are emailed your solo ad about your scrapbooking business.
As the ad stands alone, with no other ads, you will get a much better
response.
Sponsor Ads - This type of advertisement will generally be at the
top of the newsletter. The position of the ad makes it very visible to all
the ezine subscribers. Great for drawing attention to your product. (driving
traffic to your website)
Classified Ads - A three to five line ad, just like in magazines or
newspapers. Have a attention grabbing headline, good ad copy and a
link to your site. These ads are usually very reasonable to purchase or
are F.ree.
Ezine Articles - The Second Great method to drive targeted traffic
to your site!
Using the theme of scrapbooking. Why not start writing ezine articles
telling your captive audience all about what scrapbooking is all about.
Do not be intimidated by thinking you can not write. Simply write the way
you talk. Picture yourself explaining to someone how you begin
scrapbooking. The passion you have for scrapbooking will show as you
explain how you started scrapbooking.
Write 500 to 600 word ezine articles.
Proof read and remove any apostrophe and quotation marks. Check for
spelling errors. This is a BIG no no in article submission. Once you write
a few articles, you get the hang of it.
Double space between paragraphs. You want white space. Easier for
people to read.
A word of caution! Never put a link to a affiliate site in your article. Your
article will be trashed. Links to your website must be in the profile box
only.
When you are satisfied with your article, contact the ezine publisher
and ask them to publish your article. They always want good articles.
Keep writing! It is a lot of fun.

The Calculator
When you're doing your online banking, etc., and you can't find
your hand held calculator when you need it, well, why not use
the one on your computer instead? Just go to Start, All
Programs, Accessories and choose Calculator. A little calc will
pop up and you just use your mouse to punch in the numbers that
you need.
There are plus (+), minus (-), multiply (x), division (/) and
percent (%) signs off to the right and it even has a fraction
(1/x) and squareroot (sqrt) button in case you need those.
There's also a Backspace button for when you accidentally type
in the wrong thing.
You can also go to the View menu and switch it over to a
scientific calculator if you need a more advanced one. That one
comes with a bunch of other features as well, all located under
the View menu. If you need any Help working the calculator, just
go to the Help menu and check out the Help Topics.
I keep the calculator icon on my desktop for quick access, but
you can also get it by going to Start, Run and typing in
"calc"
(without the quotations).
