Dirty SEO Tricks to Avoid

While SEO is a very good way of ensuring that you score
high on the search engine list, you must remember not to
adopt certain unfair practices. You must avoid these tricks
if you want to be in the good books of the search engines
and not get summarily black listed by them.

Hidden Text

Similar to the subliminal advertising, hidden key word rich
text in your web page can influence the search engine
results very much. This trick is coloring the text same as
the background of your webpage. You might get good listing
because search engines do not "see" they only read the text.
But you can be sure that you will be permanently taken off
the list if this practice is noticed by the search engine
later. You can try this trick at your own risk!

Wrong submission

Some people think that submitting their webpage using
automatic submission software will get instant results.
Some such packages promise  submission to 500 search engines
and more. Don't fall for it! Such submission can be "Spam".
In addition, there at best, 8 - 10 good search engines that
are worth the trouble of submitting to. You will only be
wasting your time and money using these useless submission
software. It is better to concentrate on a few good search
engines and submit your site once a month for good results.

Doorway Pages

Some web masters create doorway pages specifically for
search engines and not for human visitors. They are not
ethical as they do not provide any information to the
visitors. You might initially get very good ranking on
the search engines but once your doorway pages are caught
by the search engine, they will ban your web site forever.

Free for all Links

Linking is a great way to get high listing with search
engines, but, at the same time, do not be open to all kind
of links. Some companies offer large number of links at a
small cost so you must be aware of such things. The reason
for this is that they might link you to those sites, which
are not worth any good. Don't exchange your links with any
web site until you know how good it is and how they will be
helpful. Dirty linking tricks are also on the rise so it is
better to find a quality-linking partner.

4.) BIZ*TECH SAVVY SOLUTIONS

Column Size

Many programs have columns of information, but a drawback is
that they may not be sized properly, and you can't view what is
in the other columns without moving the screen horizontally.
This is especially true in Explorer.

You can "eliminate" an unneeded column, or change its size by
placing your cursor on the column's header just at its edge and
dragging the column so that its width is what you wish. If you
don't need that column, drag it all the way to the other end and
it will disappear. This will allow more room for another column
that you may need.
