A warm welcome to all of our New Subscribers.
The absolute worse thing to hit the internet, in my
professional opinion, is Adult related Sp^m. There
is nothing more horrid then to get these pathetic
emails that I KNOW I never asked for or accidentally
submitted to. I do understand that these types
of sites and advertisements are very popular, but
I feel the market is big enough for these scoundrels
that they do not have to bother people who do not
want it. Especially because a big reason is because
families share computers, which kids do use. They
do not need to see that stuff. And if it is in your email
box, kids will think that you asked for it. Try explaining
that to your kids. I read this article in the marketing news today
and it blew my socks off. It is called, "Porn sp^m set to flood inboxes".

looks professional.Check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Make
sure it is easy to read.You can use this utility to format your emails to the right
width. It's not perfect, but it will save you plenty of time
because you can format your text at different widths.
Overall, it does a very good job.3. Anti-Spam
Before you send your message out, you want to check to
make sure it can get past the filters frequently used by
ISPs.There's a simple and easy way to check your message.

Power SupplyI recently had one of our computers “bite the bullet”. What
happened was the power supply overheated, made a significant
popping sound, and burned out. This particular computer is not
normally used in our “day to day” work, and is used primarily for
“fun and games” by the grandkids.Well, we replaced the power supply and now the games continue.
So, what caused this problem? In a single word – dirt.In the back of the computer is a cooling fan. Over time, it
collected dust, dog hairs and who knows what else. This “gunk”
caused the fan to seize, and without cooling the power supply
went south.Funny thing is, after we cleaned the fan and gave it a shot of
WD-40 it ran just fine. It was too late for the power supply
however, but $100 later, a new power supply was installed and the
problem was solved.The problem should never have happened and we do know better. If
it had been one of our mainstream computers it wouldn’t have
happened as we pay attention to things like this.So what is the moral of this story? Clean the fan in the back of
your computer. Your vacuum will work just fine. Take off any
attachment that might be on the vacuum, and clean out the fan
opening.One word of caution – don’t get the actual vacuum itself too
close to your computer as the magnetic flux from electric motor
it contains could wipe out the contents of your hard drive. If
your computer is on a table and the vacuum on the floor, you
should have no problem. If your computer is on the floor however
(as many are) never bring any electrical device such as a vacuum
near it.
