A "Warm" Welcome to All our
New Subscribers.
It is almost the year 2003. Boy
has time flown by me.
It wasn't long ago when I was hangin' out with the crew
and my biggest problem was having to get up for school
the next day. Now look at me. I am a mom, with 2 small
children and a home business. I struggle to make the best
possible life for my children and that is my only concern,
other than paying all the bills and keeping a roof over our heads.
But these past 3 1/2 years online doing business have been
great. I have learned more over the past few years than
I did in a management position in a 4 star hotel over a
9 year period. That is what the internet is made up of...
a never ending learning experience where your explorations
are endless. Speaking of the internet...are you aware that

The noose keeps tightening on publishers
and email
marketers. We're caught between the "Slim Shadys" who
believe that if you have email, you're fair prey and
the powers that be who feel that we're just collateral
damage in their war with "Slim Shady."
The rules are changing so fast it makes
my head spin.
So what can I do?
Gather all my friends so we can suck our
thumbs and
have a pity party, or get over it.
Well the party's over and it's time to
learn the rules
and play by them or move to another playing field.
I've decided to shift playing fields.
I'm just getting
too old to start crawling on my knees and begging them
to let me survive.
So what am I going to do?
I'm going to concentrate on viral
marketing.
So what is viral marketing?
It's when other marketers voluntarily
help you spread
your links.
I already use ezine writing which is
still a powerful
viral marketing tool, but now it's not enough.
If ezines are reaching less readers,
that means articles
are being seen less.
The best way to compensate is to hop on
the information
virus.
So how can you hop on the idea train?
Start creating fr** and fee eBooks that
are brandable.
Start unleashing these little salesmen and get your
name out there.
Why brandable? Because by allowing
others to brand
your salesmen, they have an incentive to help you
spread the word.
It's the old adage at play, the best way
to get what
you want, is to help others get what they want.
Forget the pity party and adapt. Hop on
board the
idea express and you'll keep on track.
Things change, and so do survivors.

Bounces
Hard Bounce is when an email message you
have sent is
returned to you because it couldn't be delivered to the
recipient. It often comes back to you with a message reading
"user unknown" or "host unknown".
Soft Bounce is when an email gets to the recipient because
it's been manually forwarded by a network administrator in
charge of redirecting all misguided email on the recipient's
domain.
Both types of Bounce are otherwise known in the newsletter
publishing world as PAB - A pain in the Butt.

POPCheck 1.1
POPCheck is an application that will tell
you how much mail you
have in your POP3 mail accounts. You can have as many accounts
as you like, with different update frequencies. The program
displays the account names and the amount of mail in a compact
window. It can also hide itself in the system tray. When new
mail arrives, it pops up and can also play a sound (one for
each account). When in the system tray the tool tip shows how
much mail is in each account.
