Is the world of ezine advertising as we know it
on the verge of destruction?  How are qualified ezines
supposed to sell quality advertising?
We are now in  the "Q" Syndrome.
The controversy of Quality vs. Quantity-
Which is more important?

Ezine advertising has been a proven source of one of
the most effective forms of advertising on the internet.
You place an ad with a qualified ezine and this ad would be
published to thousands of opt-in subscribers waiting to see
what you have to offer.  As long as you chose a targeted ezine,
you are assured some quality exposure.  These campaigns are effective
and quite affordable. Depending on the ad position that you purchase,
prices normally average anywhere from $20 to $100 for an ad.
Of course this depends on the amount of subscribers in the ezine.  
It's well worth the investment, considering the
quality exposure you have. 
Your investment pays off, and you make some nice profits. 
This is high quality and profitable advertising.  And it works.

However...

Is this quality advertising coming to an end?  Is it being traded in
for quantity ezine advertising?  Now you see more and more push
for quantity than quality.  Many businesses are starting to advertise
an ad in multiple ezines for next to nothing. 
Basically the ezine would get a subscriber and the subscriber
gets an ad in the ezine.

- Is this effective?
- Does this subscriber get exposure?
- Does the ezine get a faithful subscriber?

There are pros and there are cons to this situation:

 Cons of Quantity Advertising:
- You do NOT get effective quality exposure
- Your ad is mixed in with tons of other ads
- Your ad will never be placed in a quality position

Pros of Quantity Advertising:
- You have a chance to subscribe to numerous ezines in order
to see which ones you like and would want to continue
your subscription with.
- You have a chance to test your ad copy. 
Even 1 or 2 hits may qualify as a good ad copy considering
the placement of the ad.  So you can consider it for a good
quality paid position with an ezine.
- It enhances your research capabilities in finding quality ezines.

These Quantity Ezine ad companies are not here to replace
Quality Ezine Advertising.  Their purpose is to give you
the opportunity to try out ezine advertising, with an ad
in multiple ezines, for a small price. 
You are then subscribed to these ezines. 
These ezines are not something you just delete from your email box. 
If you do not want to read them, then unsubscribe. 

However, the smart thing to do,
is read one or two issues of each ezine you are subscribed to,
and then choose a small handful of them that you enjoy and keep them. 
Unsubscribe from the others.

Do you have an ad copy you need to try out?  And you don't want
to spend tons of money for a quality position if the ad copy
is not up to par?  Then try the Quantity ezine ad sites
and try it out.  If you get a few hits, then your ad copy will get
many times more than that in a quality position.  Here are my

So you will be doing them a favor as well as your email box.

NOTHING can take the place of Quality ezine advertising. 
Though the investment is a bit more, the quality exposure is greater,
bringing you greater profits and more exposure to your business.

Is Quantity winning over Quality? 
Many NEW businesses do not see the BIG PICTURE. 
Many new entrepreneurs think this quantity advertising deal
is just GREAT!
 "How much exposure have you gotten from it?"
Very little, if any.

Quality Ezine Advertising is out there. 
And any experienced business entrepreneur will
tell you to stick with that. 

Nothing will ever compare or live up to Quality Ezine Advertising. 
It is ok to try out these quantity advertising campaigns. 
Read through these ezines that you subscribed to,
and keep the ones you like.  Then invest in a few of
their advertising packages, and you will see for yourself
how effective Quality Advertising is.

There is a huge difference between
Quality Advertising and Quantity Advertising. 
Quality advertising will never become extinct.  
Not as long as people realize the difference between the two.

(Laugh A little- You Deserve It)

SHOE REPAIRS

Arnold and his wife were cleaning
out the attic one day when he came
across a ticket from the local shoe
repair shop. The date stamped on
the ticket showed it was over eleven
years old. They both laughed and tried
to remember which of them might have
forgotten to pick up a pair of shoes
over a decade ago.

"Do you think the shoes will still
be in the shop?" Arnold asked.

"Not very likely," his wife said.

"It's worth a try," Arnold said,
pocketing the ticket.

He went downstairs, hopped
into the car, and drove to the
store.

With a straight face, he handed
the ticket to the man behind the
counter. With a face just as
straight, the man said, "Just a
minute. I'll have to look for these."

He disappeared into a dark
corner at the back of the shop.

Two minutes later, the man
called out, "Here they are!"

"No kidding?" Arnold called
back. "That's terrific! Who would
have thought they'd still be here
after all this time."

The man came back to the
counter, empty-handed.

"They'll be ready Thursday,"
he said calmly.
